Christopher Robin

"A working-class family man, Christopher Robin encounters his childhood friend Winnie-the-Pooh, who helps him to rediscover the joys of life" -IMDb Title: CHRISTOPHER ROBIN Year:  2018  Directed By: Marc Foster   Written By:  Alex Ross Perry, Tom McCarthy, Allison Schroeder  Story By: Greg Brooker, Mark Steven Johnson   Duration:  1 hour 44 minutes  Genre:  Family, Comedy, Adventure   Starring:  Ewan McGregor, Hayley Atwell, Bronte Carmichael  Language:  English  Score: 6 / 10 This movie is clearly made to remind you of your childhood, especially for those who grew up watching and reading Winnie The Pooh. When I first watched the trailer, I didn't think this will be an amazing movie that will last forever in everyone's mind. Well, my final opinion isn't very different with my expectations, but I like it more than I thought.  WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT IT? 1. CUTENESS OVERLOAD As everyone knows, Poo...

The Meg

"After escaping an attack by what he claims was a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible" -IMDb Title:  THE MEG Year:  2018  Directed By:  Jon Turteltaub   Written By:  Dean Georgaris, Jon Hoeber, Eric Hoeber Duration:  1 hour 53 minutes  Genre: Action, Thriller, Monster Movie   Starring:  Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Ruby Rose, Rainn Wilson  Language:  English  Score:  5/ 10 Originally, I don't want to watch this movie. But because this is the only popular one playing in cinemas that I haven't watched, I eventually did watch it. The Meg is somehow enjoyable but stays in that middle area where it's not good enough to be considered a great movie, but has a chance of falling to the bad-movie-area.  WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT IT? 1. THE SUSPENSE AND JUMPSCARE There is almost no shark movie without suspense and jumpscare. They're like the whole poi...

Unsane

"A young woman is involuntarily committed to a mental institution, where she is confronted by her greatest fear--but is it real or a product of her delusion?" -IMDb Title:  UNSANE Year:  2018  Directed By: Steven Soderbergh   Written By:  Jonathan Bernstein, James Greer   Duration:  1 hour 38 minutes  Genre:  Thriller  Starring:  Claire Foy, Joshua Leonard, Juno Temple, Jay Pharoah  Language:  English  Score: 7/10 This is another movie that I've never heard of but decided to watch because a Youtube video recommended it. It's not a huge budget movie and pretty underrated. But this is definitely something worth watching because of the story, suspense, character development, and Claire Foy's on point acting.  WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT IT? 1. CLAIRE FOY To be honest, I've only heard about how good she is but have never watched her performance. So this is the first one and thankfully I wasn't disappointed a...
